Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors and delivery personnel while following site-specific security procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Respond to incidents, policy violations and critical situations with calm, clear communication; notify appropriate contacts and emergency services.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout the facility and surrounding areas, reporting hazards and security concerns.
• Support inbound/outbound deliveries by observing loading areas and reporting discrepancies.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, help to deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and vendors. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)

  • Candidates must have prior experience with access control systems and badge management.

• Customer Service Experience (B219)

  • Candidates should possess a strong background in customer service, demonstrating effective communication and problem-solving skills.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate entry and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, policy violations, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the distribution facility, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and property concerns.
• Support the orderly flow of inbound and outbound deliveries by observing loading areas and reporting discrepancies or unauthorized activity in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
