Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology location by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, report irregularities.
• Document patrols and incidents using required reporting tools.

Pay Rate: $18.36 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, or telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site policies, and report irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and completed activities accurately and promptly using required reporting tools.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
