Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer for Patrol Premises Checks at an Amazon Warehouse in Concord, NC. You will provide a visible security presence, assist employees and visitors, and uphold site procedures to support a welcoming environment.

The role offers flexible day/evening shifts and pay of $18.36 per hour. You will monitor access points, conduct patrols, and respond to incidents with professionalism and customer service, aligned to site policies.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by federal, state and local law.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, loading areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document observations, incidents, and patrol activities in required reports.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and following Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
