• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas and perimeter locations; conditions vary by site.

Pay Rate: $20.36 / Hour

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to passengers, crew members, visitors, and/or clients while carrying out screening procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen passengers, carry‑on items, baggage, and/or supplies in accordance with applicable procedures and access‑control requirements for cruise terminal or vessel operations.
• Monitor screening equipment and access points, identify prohibited or unauthorized items, and report concerns through established communication channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, embarkation locations, and surrounding perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
