The role emphasizes flexible scheduling and using our platform to claim shifts. A Guard Card is preferred, and a background check is required by law. Pay rate is $19.57 per hour.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and security-related procedures per site policies and respond to emergencies.

• Respond to incidents calmly and communicate relevant information to the right personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, reporting unusual conditions.
• Maintain accurate access-control logs and incident reports.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor activity, and directing guests, employees, and vendors in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating relevant information to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, reporting unusual conditions and potential concerns.
• Maintain accurate access-control logs, incident reports, and other required documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
