Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel; verify credentials and maintain access records.
• Control entry and exit of vehicles at gates; check driver identification and shipping documents as per site policy.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate concerns to site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, yards, loading areas, parking lots, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel; verify credentials and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site procedures.
• Control entry and exit of vehicles at gates, including checking driver identification, shipping documentation, and assigned access authorization as required by site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, trailer yards, loading areas, parking lots, and the business perimeter to identify and report security-related concerns and help to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
