Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time Credential Authentication) in Manassas, VA, to protect clients across multiple industries at a technology-focused site. You’ll screen visitors, verify access credentials, and support badge and access-control processes while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will work a part-time schedule, with opportunities to use our Claim a Shift platform and advance within a dynamic security team.

Formación

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access screening requirements, and emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Screen personnel and authorized items entering and exiting the facility in accordance with established policies, escalating prohibited items, access concerns, and irregularities to appropriate site contacts.
• Verify identification, visitor authorization, and required credentials; maintain accurate visitor and screening-related documentation while protecting confidential information.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and communicating observations to Allied Universal leadership and designated client representatives.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entry points, and surrounding business perimeter to help identify and report potential security-related concerns.

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
