• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security systems; verify credentials and follow entry procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document actions per site policy.
• Complete detailed activity, incident, and patrol reports and communicate information to leadership and site contacts.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, manage access control and badge procedures, and provide outstanding customer service. Use computer or tablet tools to document activity and communicate clearly while contributing to a reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $26.45 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or access concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security-related systems as assigned; verify credentials and follow site procedures for visitor and contractor entry.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken according to site policy.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access Control/Badge Experience preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet preferred.
• Customer Service Experience preferred.
• Guard Card/License preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
