Allied Universal is hiring for a Part Time Enhanced Security Officer in Saint Louis, MO. The role offers flexible hours with a fixed anchor shift and the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $16.50 per hour with a schedule of 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Mondays, plus opportunities to advance toward a full-time schedule while gaining experience in security operations for a technology and telecommunications site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• License or certification may be required per state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a technology, media, and telecommunications site by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, professional manner and report as required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and common areas.
• Monitor access points and observe activity according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear reports and communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Credential Audit in Saint Louis, MO, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule: Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, common areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site‑specific access‑control procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security‑related license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
