Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in Ashburn, VA to provide reliable security services at an assigned site. The role offers fixed shifts with optional extra shifts through our Earn More program, and pay at $23.36 per hour.

Responsibilities include delivering customer service to tenants and visitors, performing patrols, monitoring access, and coordinating with site management and first responders. This position emphasizes flexibility and reliability.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screening required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial real estate facilities, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate incident, patrol, and activity reports.
• Assist with security-related communications and coordinate with site management, first responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time CPR First Aid Response in Ashburn, VA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $23.36 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
