Conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $23.36 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Friday – 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
• Saturday – 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the building, data center areas, parking facilities, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor, vendor, and contractor activity in accordance with location procedures.
• Prepare accurate incident and patrol reports and promptly communicate security-related concerns, facility issues, and unusual activity to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
