Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Coordinator in Savannah, GA to monitor and protect client sites across retail and distribution locations. You will provide outstanding customer service, manage access control, and maintain security logs while supporting a reliable, safety‑focused team culture.

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, loading docks, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access for employees, visitors, and delivery personnel, and maintain required logs and reports.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, damaged property, hazardous conditions, and policy violations to the appropriate site contacts or Allied Universal leadership.

What You’ll Do:
