Allied Universal in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a part‑time Security Officer Enhanced with flexible scheduling and the ability to pick up additional shifts. The role offers a base pay of $15.25 per hour and a plan to build toward a fuller schedule up to 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security‑related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Guard card is required.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors while carrying out site‑specific access control procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and maintain visitor and vehicle activity records.
• Respond to access‑related incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Communicate observations, incidents, and access concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, completing required reports and documentation.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Operations in West Palm Beach, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.25 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeTue11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

• Communicate observations, incidents, and access concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, completing required reports and documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security‑related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Guard card is required.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
