Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Computer Assisted Patrol in Whitsett, NC. You will monitor designated areas, assist employees and visitors, and utilize computer/tablet tools to support site operations while representing Allied Universal’s culture of teamwork and integrity.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security concerns per procedures.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Use computer or tablet tools to support site operations while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture through teamwork.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.89 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Wed 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, common areas, building entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or irregular conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
