Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Compliance Patrol in Whitsett, NC to provide safety, access control, and customer service across a technology campus.

You will monitor assigned areas, conduct patrols, respond to incidents, complete reports, and maintain a professional presence while working with Allied Universal’s team. This role offers flexible day schedules and a chance to grow within a leading security company.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement: comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify personnel.
• Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and security systems per site policies; direct guests as needed.
• Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports, and ensure smooth shift handoffs.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a leading technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Using computer or tablet tools as needed, you will support a welcoming environment while working collaboratively with Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative team and acting with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols throughout the technology campus, office areas, parking facilities, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and security-related systems in accordance with site policies; assist with directing guests and supporting an orderly workplace environment.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoffs while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
