Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Guard Patrol in Westfield, NY to safeguard clients across healthcare settings. You will maintain a visible security presence, assist patients and staff, and uphold our service standards while on shift.

As a Security Guard Patrol in Westfield, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. You will support a welcoming environment while demonstrating Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established healthcare location protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including buildings, parking areas, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain professional communication with healthcare staff, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
