Allied Universal in Cranberry Township, PA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer to protect people and property at a technology and telecommunications site. This role emphasizes customer service, access control, and vigilant daily presence.

You will work Sat 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM and Sun 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM, earning $17.00 per hour with opportunities to grow through our training and shift-claiming platform.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and media/telecommunications facility guests while following site security procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor entry procedures, and document access-related activity.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms and critical situations per emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and perimeter to identify security concerns.
• Maintain logs, incident reports, and coordinate with leadership and site contacts.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and media/telecommunications facility guests while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, manage visitor entry procedures, and document access-related activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and shift communications, and coordinate with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
