Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, and control entry and exit in accordance with established procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, parking areas, business spaces, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or access-control concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership while completing required reports and maintaining accurate documentation.

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Checkpoint in Cranberry Twp, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto Auction Facility, and more. You will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor visitor activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and guests. You will maintain a visible presence, help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
