Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity per site procedures.
• Document incidents and security activities through required reports and communicate with site leadership.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Sat 09:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, customers, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity in accordance with site procedures, reporting unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and security‑related observations through required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
