Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol in Woodstown, NJ. This role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $22.00 per hour, with a schedule that includes Friday evenings as a fixed shift. You will provide security services at a government location, respond to incidents, and conduct regular armed patrols while adhering to site policies and licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience or a college degree.
• Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Corrections Officer License required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Armed role requires 21+ age.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and the public at a government location following site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and document visitor activity and incidents.
• Maintain proficiency with equipment and Allied Universal procedures and client post orders.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Operations in Woodstown, NJ, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Fri 03:00 PM - 07:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and members of the public at a government location by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and public agencies as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and document visitor activity, incidents, and unusual conditions in accordance with site policies.
• Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and follow applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal procedures, and client post orders while performing armed duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security‑related experience, or a college degree.
• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program, or equivalent.
• Possess a Corrections Officer License.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
