Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and access-control policies.
• Monitor access points, verify IDs, issue/collect visitor credentials, maintain records.
• Respond to incidents calmly and promptly, communicating observations to site contacts or responders.
• Conduct regular/patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking, and perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access-control systems/alarms and report irregularities per site procedures.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization, issue and collect visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access-control and visitor records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access-control systems, alarms, and related equipment, reporting irregularities and documenting activities according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
