Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications-related location.
• Monitor and control access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Observe access control systems, alarms, cameras, and communication equipment, reporting unusual activity, equipment concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and escalating matters when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, exits, perimeter areas, and other designated locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
