Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Part Time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer in Bronx, NY. You will monitor residential common areas, perform unarmed patrols, assist residents and visitors, and maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents.

As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, entrances, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures; report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
