Qualifications

• Armed guard card or license is required.
• New Jersey RPO certificate is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

• Must be 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check is required by law.
• Drug screen will be conducted where permitted by law.
• Industry-specific security training may be required.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay Rate: $30.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, requesting additional support when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with access-control procedures, and report unusual conditions in accordance with site-specific protocols.
• Maintain proficiency and comply with all applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal policies for the authorized carrying and use of assigned equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess a New Jersey RPO certificate.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
