Job summary

Allied Universal in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Part-Time Armed Reception Desk Security Officer to greet visitors, monitor access, and maintain a secure front desk at a financial institution. This role offers flexibility to build a shift schedule and advance through our Claim a Shift platform.

Pay Rate: $20.06 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and guests at a professional front-desk location within a financial institution.
• Monitor access to the facility by greeting visitors, verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate visitor records.
• Answer and route incoming calls, provide directions, and communicate site-specific procedures to visitors and employees.
• Monitor security-related systems, alarms, and entry activity; report unusual conditions or access concerns according to site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting relevant details.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree or 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
