Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Armed Patrol Preparedness in Atlanta, GA. You will monitor a financial institution location, provide customer service, manage access control, and deter security incidents while maintaining a professional presence.

The role requires armed capabilities, adherence to post orders, and ability to respond to emergencies. Pay rate is $24.16 per hour and the schedule includes daytime shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• 5+ years of security-related experience.
• Armed guard card/license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers by carrying out site-specific procedures and access-control measures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of the business, parking areas, ATM locations, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas; verify credentials and direct visitors per site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner; notify appropriate personnel and responders as needed.
• Maintain armed post qualifications and complete accurate activity and incident reports.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control measures, and emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the business, parking areas, ATM locations, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas; verify credentials and direct visitors in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain required armed post qualifications, carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws and Allied Universal policies, and complete accurate activity and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Possess 5+ years of security-related experience.
• An armed guard card/license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
