Allied Universal in Leesburg, VA is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Driver Response to provide reliable, flexible coverage at a government location with fixed shifts. The role offers opportunity to earn $24.00 per hour and participate in our Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program.

As a trusted security partner, you will conduct armed patrols, screen visitors, and respond to incidents while maintaining thorough reports.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A Virginia DCJS license is required.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government location while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related responsibilities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Screen visitors and monitor access points in accordance with established entry procedures, verifying authorization and directing individuals appropriately.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, documenting incidents, observations, and actions taken during the shift.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Driver Response in Leesburg, VA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

DayTimeSun11:45 AM - 05:15 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
