Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid drivers license in the state where the job is located.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while following site procedures and emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals and belongings entering government facilities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner; document observations and reports.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of government buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Maintain readiness and control of assigned equipment, including firearms, per policies and site requirements.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Incident Response in Leesburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. What You’ll Do

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete required reports.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of government buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain readiness and responsible control of assigned equipment, including authorized firearms, while complying with Allied Universal policies and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
