Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Armed Patrol Customer Service Security Officer in Orlando, FL to monitor and protect guests at a premier performing arts venue. You will provide security procedures, deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service to guests, staff, and performers.

The role offers flexible hours via our Shift platform, requires 1 year armed security experience, a CPO certification, an armed guard card or license, and a high school diploma; applicants must be 21+

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular armed patrols to deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain documentation such as incident reports and patrol logs per procedures.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, performers, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a performing arts venue.
• Monitor access points, public areas, backstage spaces, and perimeter locations while assisting with the orderly flow of patrons before, during, and after performances and events.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with venue personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and surrounding property to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Maintain required documentation, including incident reports, patrol activity, and observations, in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess a CPO certification.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
