Pay Rate: $30.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of galleries, exhibit areas, collection spaces, offices, entry points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and help maintain controlled entry to restricted collection and operational areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
