Allied Universal in New Orleans, LA, is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Field Operations to provide reliable, scheduled security coverage at a designated site. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with additional on-demand shifts to boost earnings, and a path toward full-time opportunities.

The position requires an armed guard card/license, 21+ years of age, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at commercial real estate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, entrances, common areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate daily activity, incident, and patrol documentation.
• Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and follow applicable laws, policies, and procedures for armed security-related duties.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Field Operations in New Orleans, LA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed10:00 AM - 07:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
