As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Field Security in New Orleans, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer supporting a commercial real estate location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to situations as needed, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at commercial real estate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the property, verify credentials as required, and assist with visitor and contractor entry in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, activity logs, and required documentation; communicate observations and concerns to supervisors, property representatives, and/or emergency responders as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
