Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Armed Mobile Patrol Security Officer in Jacksonville, FL. You will provide security services at transportation facilities, conduct armed patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, driving is involved, and you will work a part-time schedule with shifts posted in advance.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to riders, visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities at transportation facilities and surrounding areas.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, administrative spaces, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify authorized entry when required, and report suspicious persons, vehicles, packages, or activities according to site procedures.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and activity logs, documenting observations, patrols, incidents, and actions taken in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific requirements.

• Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
