Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Driver Patrol at Brownsville, TX. You will perform armed patrolling, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while providing strong customer service.

The role offers flexible shifts with anchor schedules and opportunities to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings. Ability to work up to 40 hours weekly with a part-time base schedule is provided.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience at a security-focused site.
• Must hold a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 21 for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and professionally, including disturbances and medical/safety situations.
• Conduct armed patrols of the retail grocery location including sales floors and parking areas.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity per site procedures.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Driver Patrol Visibility in Brownsville, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon12:00 PM - 11:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, including disturbances, medical situations, and/or potential theft‑related activity, in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail grocery location, including sales floors, receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious conditions or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Maintain required reports and documentation related to patrols, incidents, and other security‑related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
