Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) for Rockingham, NC. You will patrol production areas, deter incidents, and maintain a visible security presence while delivering excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

Expect a pay rate of $15.85 per hour with a flexible day schedule: DayTime Fri to Sun and Sat shifts. You will support access control, monitor logs, and follow site procedures to ensure safe operations.

Qualifications

• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors; follow security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain logs/reports per site requirements.
• Observe and report hazards or damaged property to site contacts and leadership.

Pay Rate: $15.85 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.


• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouse and loading zones, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.


• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor credentials, and maintain accurate logs and reports in accordance with site requirements.


• Observe and report unusual conditions, damaged property, or potential hazards to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.


• Alarm panel experience is preferred.


• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
