Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state and local laws.
• Qualified applications with criminal histories considered per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site policies.
• Monitor and control access by verifying credentials and visitors.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $15.24 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying authorized personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and access records; issue and collect credentials as directed by site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, trailer yards, loading areas, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
