Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and vendors per site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor/badge authorization.
• Respond to incidents calmly and report events to appropriate personnel.
• Complete incident reports and logs accurately and promptly.

As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential care location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to residents, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and vendor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain professional communication with residents and staff.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Complete required incident reports, patrol logs, and other documentation accurately and promptly while following Allied Universal and site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
