• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and delivery appointments, maintain visitor and contractor records, and direct authorized individuals to designated areas.
• Observe vehicle, trailer, and pedestrian traffic at gates and access points; deter unauthorized entry by reporting irregular activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and notify site contacts and responders as directed.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points and perimeter, documenting observations and security-related incidents.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.


• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and delivery appointments, maintain visitor and contractor records, and direct authorized individuals to designated areas.


• Observe vehicle, trailer, and pedestrian traffic at gates and access points; help to deter unauthorized entry by reporting irregular activity according to site procedures.


• Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.


• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking locations, and the business perimeter, documenting observations and security-related incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
