Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time at our Doraville, GA site. The role offers fixed anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings, with pay at $15.42 per hour.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out access control procedures and site policies.
• Verify authorization for individuals and vehicles entering or exiting the site.
• Monitor access points, gates, and loading areas to deter unauthorized entry and ensure orderly movement.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document details for appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and surrounding areas.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Coordination in Doraville, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.42 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day: Tue

Time: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Verify authorization for individuals and vehicles entering or exiting the distribution location, following established visitor, delivery, and contractor check‑in procedures.
• Monitor access points, vehicle gates, and loading area activity to help deter unauthorized entry and support the orderly movement of people and shipments.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
