• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local law.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report unusual activity, access violations, and security concerns to site contacts or responders.
• Respond to incidents calmly and in line with post orders and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular patrols of entrances, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized access.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees at a food and beverage distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, maintain entry records, and direct authorized personnel, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with site requirements.
• Observe and report unusual activity, access violations, and security-related concerns, escalating incidents to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established post orders and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, loading areas, employee parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
