As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help manage entry points at a construction location, verify authorized access, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors while supporting site procedures and reporting concerns. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $27.14 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Wed 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Thur 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Control access for personnel, deliveries, and vendors in accordance with established site requirements and construction location protocols.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity and report observed concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
