What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and vendors at a high-availability technology facility by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorizations, process visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access-control records in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, restricted areas, perimeter locations, and surrounding business areas to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Support a professional, organized environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and following Allied Universal and client procedures for reporting, documentation, and shift handoff.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Possess a college degree.
• Type at least 40 words per minute.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
