Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Part Time Access Control Patrol in Seattle, WA. The role emphasizes excellent customer service, visible patrols, and strict access control procedures at a commercial real estate site.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a commercial real estate location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random interior and exterior patrols of common areas, entry points, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or property concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, vendor, and contractor access in accordance with building procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
