Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Control access to the facility by verifying IDs, processing visitors and contractors, maintaining records, and reporting unauthorized access.
• Monitor entry/exit points, loading areas, and vehicle traffic to support orderly movement of personnel, deliveries, and shipments.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and notify site contacts or responders as directed.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, report observations and security concerns.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification, processing visitor and contractor entry, maintaining access records, and reporting unauthorized access attempts.
• Monitor entry and exit points, loading areas, and vehicle traffic to help support orderly movement of personnel, deliveries, and shipments.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, perimeter, parking areas, and loading zones; document observations and report security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
