Pay rate is $17.00 per hour. Requirements include TSA TWIC, a valid driver’s license, and 2+ years security experience; age 21+ for armed roles; HS diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, screening visitors and contractors, and maintaining entry records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and follow escalation/reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, operational areas, parking areas, and facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with personnel, visitors, contractors, and emergency responders; document daily activities and incidents.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the chemical and petrochemical facility by verifying credentials, screening authorized visitors and contractors, and maintaining required entry records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, operational areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with personnel, visitors, contractors, and emergency responders while documenting daily activities and unusual incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a TSA-issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
