Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time Access Control Driver) in Atlanta, GA. You will provide customer service, monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and respond to security concerns.

A flexible part-time schedule may include daytime and overnight shifts, with driving duties as assigned. The role requires a valid driver’s license, high school diploma or equivalent, and completion of background checks and drug screening as required by law.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor entry procedures, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and emergency responders while following Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
