• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, common areas, and perimeter to identify and report security concerns.
• Document incidents and access-control activity and communicate to site leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control Driver in Bridgeport, AL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures and access-control policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized individuals according to established procedures.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, common areas, and the business perimeter to identify and report security-related concerns.
• Document incidents, access-control activity, and unusual conditions accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
