Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Visitor Access Driver

Pay Rate: $16.40 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utility services location by carrying out site‑specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and direct authorized individuals according to site requirements.
• Respond to access‑related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, business areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unauthorized access and other security‑related concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs, complete incident reports, and communicate relevant security‑related information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
