Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Part Time Access Control in Dawn, TX. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and maintain access logs while delivering excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

This role offers flexible scheduling, opportunities to claim additional shifts, and a pay rate of $15.48 per hour. Responsibilities include responding to incidents and ensuring a welcoming, secure environment on a manufacturing and industrial site.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Conduct regular patrols of facility access points, production-area exteriors, parking areas, and the perimeter.
• Observe and report security-related concerns including unsecured doors and equipment issues.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access-control logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility access points, production-area exteriors, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report security-related concerns, including unsecured doors, damaged barriers, unusual activity, and access-control equipment issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
