Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks a Part Time Unarmed Access Control Patrol in New Stanton, PA. You will monitor facilities, deter incidents, and deliver customer service to employees and visitors, with an emphasis on access control and alert response. Shifts: DayTime Saturday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM and Sunday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM.

Pay rate is $18.75 per hour. Required: minimum age 18 for unarmed positions; high school diploma; background check and drug

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Loss Prevention is preferred.
• Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screening may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused corporate location while enforcing site policies and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of interiors, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify credentials and direct individuals to proper locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify site contacts or responders.
• Prepare detailed activity and incident reports and shift communications per Allied Universal and site requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology-focused corporate location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery traffic in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials and direct individuals to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Loss Prevention is preferred.
• Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
